The mechanical FK-01-12-R felling wedge, designed for use with an impact wrench is the perfect companion for logging. With its Weight of only 1.65 kg (without ratchet & bag), it is suitable for daily use in the forest. The felling wedge features our patented, extremely sharp spring steel claw plates/retaining plates with innovatively curved retaining teeth/claws, which are designed with very sharp edges and whose cavities are welded and smoothed on the back side to prevent them from bending backward. The retaining teeth ensure excellent self-locking of the wedge against slipping out of the saw kerf, as they engage perfectly with the wood of the saw kerf. It also features a smooth-running, self-lubricating sliding wedge made of special plastic that expands the felling wedge. With up to 24-ton lifting capacity You’ll have a safe and practical tool at your side for tree felling. Suitable for impact wrenches up to 1100 Nm.

The ball lock integrated into the hexagon allows the wedge and ratchet to be securely connected and prevents them from slipping unintentionally. However, the holes required for the ball lock weaken the hexagon. Therefore, if you plan to use an impact wrench with the felling wedge, we strongly recommend the“S” model,which featuresa solid, hardened hexagon.
