Felling Wedge FK 01-12-S - Mechanical felling wedge for impact wrenches

The FK-01-12-S mechanical felling wedge, designed for use with an impact wrench, is the perfect tool for timber harvesting. Weighing just 1.65 kg ( without ratchet and bag), it is ideal for daily use in the forest. The felling wedge features spring steel claw plates/retaining plates with newly designed, curved retaining teeth/claws, which are very sharp-edged and whose cavities are welded and smoothed on the back side to prevent bending backward. The retaining teeth ensure excellent self-locking of the wedge against slipping out of the saw kerf, as they engage perfectly with the tree wood in the saw kerf. Additionally, it features a smooth-running and self-lubricating sliding wedge made of special plastic, which expands the felling wedge. With up to 24 TONS of lifting force, you have a safe and practical helper at your side for tree felling. To minimize wear on the SW14 hex drive used to operate the wedge with an impact wrench at forces of up to 1,100 Nm, it has been specially hardened. The ratchet is also lightweight and available as an option, as is the matching leather case.
