TheFK-01-12-R mechanicalfelling wedge, designed for use with aratchet,isthe perfect companion for timber harvesting. Weighing just 1.65 kg (without ratchet and bag), it is ideal for daily use in the forest. The felling wedge features our patented spring steel claw plates/retaining plates with innovatively curved retaining teeth/claws, which are designed with very sharp edges and whose cavities are welded and smoothed on the back side to prevent bending backward. The retaining teeth ensure excellent self-retention of the wedge, preventing it from slipping out of the saw kerf, as they engage perfectly with the wood of the saw kerf. Additionally, it features a smooth-running, self-lubricating sliding wedge made of special plastic that expands the felling wedge. With up to12 tons of lifting force, youhavea safe and practical helper at your side for tree felling.

The ball lock integrated into the hexagon allows the wedge and ratchet to be securely connected and prevents them from slipping unintentionally. However, the holes required for the ball lock weaken the hexagon. Therefore, if you plan to use an impact wrench with the felling wedge, we strongly recommend the“S” model,which featuresa solid, hardened hexagon.
